Hi I’m Joelle, the creator behind Serenity Sea Glass. I live on the stunning island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands (found between England and France). I am a mother to two beautiful sons and have a tech savy husband called Jason, a software developer who likes to make games in his spare time. My love for collecting sea glass started back in 2018 when I use to live along the west coast near Cobo. My eldest loved the beach and as a toddler, one of our favourite activities use to be to go looking for “pirate treasure”.
After moving to the south coast, my fascination with sea glass grew after finding my first rare blue piece. After some research, I tumbled down the rabbit hole of discovery into the world of sea glass. I was hooked on finding as many of the rare colours that I could get my hands on. It became an addiction! One I’ve been able to share with both my little boys.
Our favourite family outing on a hot summers day, is to walk down to Saints Bay Beach and collect sea glass, have a quick dip in the sea and enjoy a picnic or the delighful food the local kiosk has to offer.
